Using this site

CitationWithSources provides free citation generators and reference content for educational and informational use. No account or sign-up is required, and there is no charge to use any generator on this site.

Accuracy

Every citation format is transcribed from a published style authority and checked against that source's own worked examples before it goes live (see the About page for how). Even so, results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied on as the sole basis for a financial, medical, legal, academic, or other consequential decision. If a result matters, verify it independently before acting on it.

No warranty

This site is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of any generator or content on this site is at your own risk. Where this site and your style manual or institution's guidance disagree, follow your manual or institution.
